Provide a second chance at life for a companion animal and help reduce shelter numbers.
Fostering is a highly rewarding, joyous and inspiring experience. It’s also a great way to have a companion animal in your home, without the long term commitment of ownership.
Australia has the second highest animal euthanasia rates in the world. Each year, over 200,000 healthy cats and dogs are put to sleep because they are without homes. This is a terrifying truth but we can change these figures, one animal at a time. Every new foster carer means another animal that can be rescued.
Each day people are opening their hearts and homes to foster a companion animal. Think you might be one of these people? You’ll be the vital bridge between the animal’s old life and their new start with their forever home.
